We Are Non-Partisan. We Are Pro-Democracy.
PETOOP is not a political party, and we are not here to ask citizens to follow or support any political party.
Our goal is to help Nigerians win a better democracy.
We do this by empowering citizens to achieve free and fair elections, action against vote buying, and protection of the electoral process.
Three things that can help strengthen our democracy.
Hover over each principle to learn what it means.
We believe every Nigerian has the right to make their own political choice freely, without intimidation, manipulation, or the influence of money.
We are committed to campaigning against vote buying, educating citizens about the value of their votes, and encouraging voters to make informed decisions based on the issues, the candidates and the future they want for their communities and Nigeria.
We want citizens to understand how to vote, how to protect their votes, how to observe the counting process, and how to ensure that their votes are properly counted and their choices respected.
Nigeria will work when citizens are empowered.
Nigeria will work when majority of us know why we are voting, vote freely, protect our vote, and make our vote count.
Be part of a better democracy.
Learn, connect with other citizens and help spread the message of informed, peaceful and independent participation.
